    • Hi Andrew,

I just saw your posts about having trouble accessing the livestream. Firstly, I’m really sorry that you couldn’t get in.

It looks as though your browser might need to have its history/cache cleared. Sometimes, this can cause a problem with links and buttons, causing them to take you to random pages.

With that said, once that’s been…Read More

      • Thanks Luke. I did get through an hour late, and learnt something from the last part, so it was worth the wait. I was wondering if it could be a cache thing, although i thought I had also tried my tablet.

        • Sorry meant to add thanks for the great website and the great tuition from Tim. I fully understand there are teething problems with all new systems. Thanks again Andy

  • And, by the way… Whoa, D’Aquisto????

  • hello all – on On the Sunny Side of the Street, can someone please explain why a Fminmaj is a good sub for E7 in the context of the song? Thanks!

  • Hello fellow guitar enthusiasts,

I need a little help. In his arrangement, there’s a “tag” ending. This might be a silly question, but would I play that tag ending after the “2nd 8” bars, after the Eb Maj7 chord? Could you please take a look at his arrangement, which is very cool? I’ve watched the instructional video several times =)

    Thank you,
    Rodney

      • Oh my Todd, I didn’t know there were measures after the second page! I have a few of Tim’s wonderful arrangements. This is the first time seeing measures of the song included!

    • Hi Rodney, a tag is what you can think of as the final ending phrase of a song. it only happens at the very end. its like an exclamation point. Another name for a tag is a Coda.

      • Thank you Tim! I do love how you end Round Midnight! If I have the courage, I’d love to record your arrangement and share it with this community! =)

  • Hey, my name is Burke. I’m a jazz and folk singer/songwriter who uses the guitar to compose.

I’m here because I think Tim is the best teacher I have ever found for this style of music that I love. His kindness and humor and laid back approach to the guitar has helped me a ton over the past couple of years.

I live near Richmond, VA but am…Read More
