Hi my name is Ian, great to be part of this new community. I’m coming from a fingerstyle blues background that wanted a little bit more creativity so not hot on the theory side of music. I’m looking to develop my knowledge of standards and how I can insert a solo to my own songs. I sing and play in a Country/Bluegrassy type band also.

I’m a middle aged guy who has had a guitar since I was a teenager, but never really applied myself. So, I’m pretty much at the beginning of the journey, but with a little bit of a jump simply by occasionally noodling over the years.
