Hello everyone,
Team TGW here with a small favor to ask.
We’re looking to add some reviews to the website’s home page so that people can see what our members are saying about the site.

Hi,
If I am working through a lesson and have a question/comment, is the proper procedure to enter it in the community forum (e.g. ‘Music Questions and Advice’)? There seems to be no question/answer section tied to an individual lesson. This seems kind of hard to work with for me, it’s sort of like having a youtube channel where there was only…Read More -
I just went through “Mastering the Harmony
Deep-Dive: Rhythm Changes” and was wondering if there are (or will be) downloadable versions of the accompanying text and examples. thanks!4 Comments-
I just did the improv part. There is a pdf at the bottom of the page but it’s for stella by starlight, fyi. Also, that lesson made me want to understand what Tim is doing when he takes a chorus playing bebop – maybe in the future there could be a lesson or series of lessons on approaching bebop soloing? Thanks!

I am cautious about giving to many formulaic answers to the “what are you thinking” questions because I want to encou…Read More

Hi Brian,
Thanks so much for checking out the course. Unfortunately we can’t provide downloads of individual lesson text and notation on that level because of piracy and abuse/misuse. Although we do provide a lot of downloadable PDFs, e.g. for the transcriptions, we have to be very careful about what we make downloadable and what we keep on the…Read More

Hi, loving the section on accompanying singers, is there a chance to add the Makin Whopee/Don’t get Around much anymore on to Soundslice?
Thanks

I realize that you’ll have transcription PDFs available for soundslice portions of lessons. Could you also have musicxml or midi files also available for download?

Hi Lonnie,
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, there are currently no plans to post musicxml or midi files. However, we’ll have a look into it and see how practical it is and how much of a risk it poses. It might not be for all lessons, but we can look into supplying it for the transcriptions.

Thanks Brian, we’ve enabled comments under each lesson, we may have to tweak it a bit so that I can see them and respond efficiently.
